- Mounting any system permanently makes it the safer
option. This system bolts to the building with only 3
Red Head 1/2" anchors and only the bracket is
permanent and can be painted to match the structure
(bolts are unpainted to show contrast in the picture to
the right). Extra brackets can be mounted on each
side of the building inexpensively.
- Ideal for Condos, Office Buildings, Nursing Homes,
Hospitals and Government buildings. One system on
the 10th floor can safely evacuate 30 people in 8
minutes.
- The swing arm provides an extension away from the
building of 34 inches. At nearly 3 feet the user has
little opportunity to drag or bump along the building
during the descent to safety.
- Portable systems tighten between the ceiling and the
floor and are ideal for the Fire Service and
construction sites as they can safely lower 2 people
at once to maximum safe rating of 800 lbs / 362 kg.
- One system on the 10th floor can evacuate 30 people in 4
minutes and 15 seconds.
- The portable davit is adjustable from 4 to 6ft. to set
up inside a window opening and 8 to 10ft. for normal
ceiling heights.
- In actual operation, the "booms" could be extended
through the window opening or off of the balcony.
- Time to deploy (without practice)-- under 3 minutes
- The Responder is shown with our patented Evac-
Suits. The suits are made of a para-aramid fiber that
reflect 95% of radiant heat.
- Training programs are available for group
applications.
Guardian Wall-Mount
Responder 1 & 2
"a system like the Responder should be standard
equipment in high rises everywhere, especially in
buildings more than ten years old."
The Solutions
Escape Pack
Each of our systems are based around the Escape Pack.
- The Controlled Descent Device (CDD) utilizes a
caribeaner to attach to a permanent anchor point.
- This anchor point can be either permanent or on one of
our portable systems.
- Theres a strap at each end of the cable that is
permanently attached.
- As the user exits and begins to slowly descend, the strap
at the other end of the cable rises for the next user.
- This sequence repeats until all trapped occupants have
been evacuated.
- The CDD comes in a 3 foot or 6 foot per second model.
